Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek is popular trekking destinations in Manaslu Region. It is more remote and outstanding place with rough steep trail and Tea-houses accommodation. It is culturally attractive with tough trail continue to Tsum Valley and Tibet border. Manaslu trek was officially opened for trekkers in 1991 and Tsum Valley trek was opened in 2010 but for the mountain expedition have long access in this area.
Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek starts from Arughat after 8 hours’ drive from Kathmandu and ends Syange after cross the Larke pass, Syange is the starting point of the popular classic Annapurna Circuit Trek. This Manaslu Tsum Valley trekking trail goes up through Lapubesi, Machhakhola, Jagat, Philim and Tsum Valley. After Tsun Valley you will back and continue to following to Manaslu Circuit Trekking trail through Deng, Namrung, Samagaun, Samdo, Larke Phedi, Bhimthang via Larke Pass (5160m), Dharapani, Syange and drive back to Kathmandu.
The attraction of this wonderful trekking are see the high panoramic Mountain View ( Ganesh Himal and Manaslu Range), cross the high pass (Larkela Pass), following the blue river (Budi Gandaki), through from beautiful pine forest, visit some popular village and monasteries with local people and their culture, see the wild life and birds. Day 04: Trek to Machha Khola (890m/2,920ft): 14km, 6-7 hrs.
Day 05: Trek to Dobhan (1,000m/3,280ft): 11km, 6-7 hrs.
Day 06: Trek to Philim (1,590m/5,216ft): 10km, 6-7 hrs.
Day 07: Trek to Lokpa Lokpa (2,240m/7,350ft) – Chumling (2,360m/7,750ft):10km, 6-7 hrs.
